About Julie K. Dennehy, APR
President, Dennehy Public Relations, Inc.

Julie Dennehy's career began in radio at WJPZ-FM in Syracuse, New York as an on-air personality and promotions coordinator. As part of the station's management team, she helped develop a repositioning campaign that drew the attention of Billboard magazine, which rated the non-commercial station #1 in the country that year. Julie also worked for the Advertising Club of Boston's Hatch Awards and two midsize Boston agencies before starting her own boutique firm in 1996 to provide consumer-oriented organizations with creative and strategic public relations services.

Often quoted by the trade media, Julie was profiled by PR News in their special issue, "15 To Watch: Highly Valued PR Assets." Julie has served her PR community in a wide range of leadership roles, including the Public Relations Society of America's Boston Chapter and the PR industry's accreditation board. She is a Past President of the Publicity Club of New England and a former director of the International Special Events Society's New England chapter. Currently, she is active in the national Word of Mouth Marketing Association, having recently attended the organization's national conference in New Orleans. She has received over a dozen Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringer awards and has served as a judge for these awards since 1997. She is also a member of the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and Boston Women Communicators.

Additional leadership roles include co-founding the Boston Independent Practitioners Network, a subgroup of PRSA's Boston Chapter celebrating ten years of service. She is currently one of three directors for the PRConsultants Group (www.prconsultantsgroup.com), a national network of 34 senior-level consultants working together on the world's largest agencies and brands. With her PRConsultants Group colleagues led by national PR firm PainePR, the team won the highest national PR award, the "Best of" Silver Anvil Award, for its national launch of XM Satellite Radio. As a small firm, Dennehy Public Relations was proud to be part of this results-oriented, award-winning national launch team and this network. The PRCG has been featured in Inc. Magazine, and is profiled in the book "Alpha Dogs: How Your Small Business Can Become a Leader of the Pack" by author and Inc. writer Donna Fenn (Collins, December 2005).

Julie graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in advertising and sociology, and speaks frequently to university classes, nonprofit organizations, and small business groups on PR topics. She resides in Medway with her husband Tim and children, Owen and Olivia, and they are active member of her local Unitarian Universalist church and Friends of Choate Park (Medway), dedicated to community service and promoting messages of justice, service and respect.

About Stephanie Flynn
Assistant Account Executive

Personable, responsible and hard-working, Stephanie Flynn is an invaluable member of the Dennehy Public Relations, Inc. account team. Providing client services and support, Stephanie will be responsible for day-to-day account assistant activities such as research, media list development, promotional partnerships, creative brainstorming, event management, and writing and editing press materials.

Stephanie recently graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology/anthropology. Throughout her last semester at Lehigh, Stephanie provided marketing and public relations support to ArtsQuest of Bethlehem, Pa., a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the arts and culture in the Greater Lehigh Valley region by bringing arts and cultural programs to more than one million people annually, resulting in a $30M economic impact to the area.

At ArtsQuest, Stephanie exercised her creativity by participating in organizational brainstorming, and provided writing and editing support to the energetic marketing team working on major festival events. She was privileged to assist with two of ArtsQuest's annual events: Musikfest (a one week event attracting one million attendees) and Christkindlmarkt (a ten day event attracting 60,000 attendees). Reporting to the director of public relations, Stephanie refined her organizational and event management skills while gaining valuable public relations experience.

Her experience, attention to detail and persistence make her a strong member of the Dennehy PR support team.
